The Supreme Court on Friday held a valedictory session in honour of the late Justice Kayode Eso.
The event, which held in the main auditorium of the Supreme Court, mostly featured tributes to the late legal luminary.
The Chief Justice of Nigeria, Justice Mariam Aloma Mukhtar, in an address at the event, praised Eso’s service to the country’s judiciary.
She said, “Justice Kayode Eso displayed immense industry and scholarship on the High Court Bench. It is on record that his rulings and judgments are products of hardwork and sound reasoning.
“These undoubtedly are the qualities that earned him the elevation to the then Western State Court of Appeal even though at the time, he was the most junior High Court Judge.”
