Stylish singer, Emem Ema, drew many dignitaries and celebrities to Dolphin Estate, Ikoyi on Saturday when her outfit, One Management, opened a new audio and video recording studio called The Cave. The development enlarges the story of various artistes sharpening the business edges of their talents in Nigeria.
With the Deputy Vice Chancellor, University of Lagos, Prof. Duro Oni, at the head of the dignitaries, veteran actor, Olu Jacob, and his wife, Joke Silva; Bimbo Akintola and Ireti Doyle rallied round Ema at the event.
Also present were former Director-General of the Film and Video Censors Board, Emeka Mba; Chairman of Consolidated Media Associates, Tajudeen Adepetu; comedians Koffi and Owen Gee; Nollywood producer Charles Novia and the Commissioner for Environment in Akwa Ibom State, Enobong Uwah.
Congratulating Ema, who was a member of the defunct group known as KUSH the Oni said she hailed from a creative family.
“Ema’s mother was a designer at the Nigerian Television Authority before she retired,” Oni added.
While the Inspiro entertained guests, the tour of the ‘The Cave’ revealed that it harbours a recording studio which runs on pro-tools 10 and Cubase 7, while the video recording suite runs on the creative suite 6, said to be the latest version of final cut pro. The care also boasts some Red Series cameras.
