I say thank you to The PUNCH editorial of Monday, December 3. It shows that we still have hope in the media. Last week, the same editorial board wrote on the urgent need to privatise our refineries now. It is imperative for President Goodluck Jonathan to look beyond his ministers and advisers to make some corrections before it is too late. Building a new banquet hall for the nation is nothing but a misplacement of priority. This administration should retrace its step in its reckless spending before the masses stop them.

Your editorial on the profligacy of the Jonathan administration on Monday is so direct and critical-with so much advice that-government to whom it was directed-can reflect and do the right thing if it is sincere.
