The COD United and Bolton Wanderers Christmas Non-residential Soccer Camp for children between ages seven to 16 is scheduled for December 17 to 20, an official of COD, Ayodeji Adegbenro, has said.
The English Championship side are in partnership with the Nigerian club to identify and groom young footballers.
Adegbenro said, “We are happy to give soccer-loving kids a different type of experience during the yuletide. They can look forward to world-class training from the specialist Bolton and COD youth coaches who will be anchoring the camp.
“The kids will learn new skills, sharpen existing ones and partake in drills. As with all our other camps, kids who catch the eye of the Bolton coaches have an opportunity of going to England to train with the Bolton youth teams.”
One of the Bolton coaches, Mick Wild said, “I have been part of numerous camps all over the world but the sheer enthusiasm and energy we get from the kids at the COD United camp is second to none.”
