Thirty customers who received money through the United Bank for Africa Plc and MoneyGram International transfer platform have emerged winners in the 15 years anniversary promo draw.
During the promo draw held at the UBA headquarters in Lagos on Tuesday, 30 customers won instant prizes which included LCD TVs, home theatre sets and fridges for receiving money through the bank from 23rd July to 23rd October 2012.
Product Manager, MoneyGram International Money Transfer, UBA Plc, Mrs. Stella Okojie said, the partnership with MoneyGram had been highly rewarding for UBA as well as MoneyGram International.
“At UBA, we place premium on our customers. This promo was instituted to give our teeming customers due recognition and welcome new customers to the platform. We are proud to say that the partnership with MoneyGram has been rewarding,” she added.
She said as part of activities to celebrate 15 years of robust relationship, UBA-MoneyGram had begun to execute hospital based corporate social responsibility projects in some university teaching hospitals in Nigeria.
The beneficiary hospitals are- Lagos University Teaching HospitalUniversity College Hospital, Ibadan, University of Benin Teaching Hospital and UMTH-Enugu.
Business Development Manager, MoneyGram International Money Transfer, Mrs. Kemi Okusanya, said that the promo was part of the overall strategy by UBA and MoneyGram to drive and sustain customer loyalty, while encouraging patronage by other targets that required money transfer services within and outside the country where MoneyGram services were offered.
